About the Senior Front-End Software Engineer Role 


In this role, you will work within a cross-functional team to deliver cutting edge software that utilizes a modern technology stack including Vue, JavaScript, CSS, Bulma, AWS S3 and PostgreSQL, as well as Python, AWS Lambda and Hyperledger Indy blockchain.

Just like every role at Axuall, leadership is an integral expectation of this job.  You will be expected to work with your peers, often taking the lead in interpreting requirements, designing workflow, creating wireframes, coding prototypes, testing and developing all aspects of the user web and mobile experience.  

To qualify for this role, we will need to see you demonstrate your production-level experience and/or working knowledge of a high percentage of the following technologies and skillsets…


  • You have at least 5 years of experience building cross-browser compatible websites

  • You've developed responsive applications using a combination of CSS3 and CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Bulma

  • You have worked extensively with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS

  • You have a passion for ensuring usability and understand how to create accessible websites

  • You're comfortable with build tools such as webpack, gulp, and custom npm scripts

  • You have experience using source control tools (preferably Git) - You know how to take designs and turn then into production-ready applications and component libraries

  • You've written unit, integration, and functional tests for your code

  • You know how to leverage libraries and best practices to implement usable and aesthetic applications when designs are not available


  • B.S. or equivalent experience in Computer Science 

  • A solid experience building and testing applications on top of RESTful APIs

  • UX design and user testing knowledge

  • Experience building accessible applications 

  • Performance optimization techniques

  • Continuous integration and automated deployment systems

  • Knowledge of agile methods and concepts

  • A strong desire to learn, push the envelope, and share knowledge with others
